Each year, the choir holds an Annual General Meeting (AGM) where the choir membership votes to elect individuals to the Choir Committee who act on behalf of the choir in any matters arising. The current officers are:

|
Chairman
John MacKenzie: John became the Head Teacher of a Primary School in Bexley in 1983 before moving on to the Bexley Music Centre in 1987, where he was the Centre Administrator for twelve years until he retired in 1999. He continued directing three choirs and two orchestras in and around Bexley until September 2007 at which point he founded Bexley Phoenix Choir. He considers it to be a great privilege to direct young people of this age who have a strong desire to keep singing! |

|
Treasurer Daniel Norris: Daniel was appointed Treasurer of the Bexley Phoenix Choir when the group was first formed in July 2008, having helped set-up the society following the Administration of the Bexley Academy of Music & Performing Arts. In this position he is responsible for maintaining the Choir’s financial accounts while providing financial support to the Choir’s Committee. Daniel has a 2:1 degree in Accounting and Finance from London Metropolitan University and is currently training to become a certified management accountant with CIMA, while working full-time for the Royal Mail. Music has been a part of his life since childhood, growing up playing various instruments and singing in numerous choirs, including the Bexley Youth Choir where the majority of our members have previously sung. |

Vice Chairman
Alex Freeman: Alex has been singing as a bass with Bexley Phoenix Choir in all of its various forms since 1998, dating all of the way back to his first tour in Dumfries 1999. Having graduated with a degree in Drama and Theatre Arts in 2005, he is currently attempting to forge a career in acting - starting with a touring production of Aladdin. Alex has previous experience working on the committee of Three Bugs Fringe Theatre in Birmingham, and DAODS musical theatre group in Dartford. His favourite songs to have sung with the choir are O Magnum Mysterium, Crucifixus, and Cantique de Jean Racine. |

Secretary Helen Seal:Helen joined the Bexley Music Centre Junior Choir in 1979 before joining the Senior Choir in 1980. She was still attending the choir when the name changed to the Chamber Choir in 1988 and remained a member until 2002. She retained her involvement when the Choir was renamed Bexley Youth Choir in 2003, attending tours as a member of staff. In 2008 she joined the Phoenix Choir at its conception. Helen is currently employed as a Law Enforcement Officer of the London Metropolis working from Hyde Park in Central London. Prior to this she worked within their civil staff since leaving school at the age of nineteen. |
